"Lend Me Your Comb" was a song written by Kay Twomey, Fred Wise and Ben Weisman and published by Alamo Music, ASCAP. Today it is best known for a cover by The Beatles, recorded 2 July 1963 at the BBC Maida Vale Studios in London. The Beatles cover has helped the song gain some notability. Musically, it is best known as a Rock'n'Roll song, and is usually performed as such. The Beatles version was released on their ''Anthology 1'' album in 1995 and again in 2013 on their ''On Air – Live at the BBC Volume 2'' collection.〔(Lend Me Your Comb. The Beatles Bible. )〕 Paul McCartney has also performed the song with Carl Perkins in a filmed performance on the 1993 "Old Friends" video.
